Description

The Bloody V8M Max is a wired RGB gaming mouse built for players who want a high sensitivity ceiling, adjustable tracking behaviour and a stable USB connection. Its MAX BC3332-A optical sensor supports up to 12,000 CPI, while selectable polling rates up to 2000Hz, adjustable lift-off distance and Bloody WorkShop8 software give you more control over how the mouse responds.

Precise tracking with room to fine-tune

At the centre of the Bloody V8M Max is the MAX BC3332-A 12K optical sensor. Bloody specifies a resolution range of 100 to 12,000 CPI, tracking speed up to 250 IPS, 35G acceleration and an 8000 FPS frame speed. This gives competitive players a broad sensitivity range, whether they prefer controlled low-CPI aiming or faster cursor movement across a high-resolution display.

The USB report rate can be switched between 125, 500, 1000 and 2000Hz. A higher polling setting allows the PC to receive position updates more frequently, while the lower options remain useful when matching the mouse to different games or systems. Bloody also rates the key response at 1ms.

Adjustable lift-off distance and X/Y sensitivity

Four LOD options let you tune how the sencsor behaves when the mouse is lifted from the pad. Three preset lift-off distances are listed at 1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm; the fourth selection can be configured through the software. Separate X/Y-axis adjustment provides additional control for users who want different horizontal and vertical sensitivity behaviour.

Full-bodied right-handed design

The V8M Max uses a sculpted right-handed shape with thumb-side controls and a wide 123 × 82 × 43mm body. It is better suited to players who prefer a fuller mouse shape than to those specifically shopping for an ultra-light or compact model. Hand size and grip preference are personal, so customers moving from a small mouse should compare the dimensions before ordering.

Metal X’Glide feet are used underneath the mouse. Bloody rates these feet for more than 300km of travel, while the left and right buttons are rated for more than 20 million clicks and the wheel for more than 800,000 scrolls. These are manufacturer durability ratings rather than a time-based guarantee.

Reliable wired USB connection—no charging required

This is a wired-only gaming mouse with a 1.8m braided USB cable. It does not support Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless mode and contains no rechargeable battery, so there is no pairing, charging or battery management to worry about. Connect it to a compatible Windows PC and use Bloody WorkShop8 when you want access to its deeper settings.

RGB lighting and software control

Five lighting effects are preloaded, and the RGB colours can be customised through Bloody WorkShop8. The software also supports button assgnment, sensitivity adjustment, polling-rate selection, LOD tuning and macro configuration. Onboard memory is provided for saved settings and macros; however, Bloody’s current regional pages disagree on its exact capacity, so that figure is marked for store confirmation in the specification table below.

The listing is currently available in Black. If additional colours are introduced later, customers can choose the available option from the product variant selector without changing the core specifications on this page.

Compatibility and Ideal-Use Guidance

The Bloody V8M Max is officially listed for Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11, with a USB connection required. Bloody WorkShop8 should be installed when you want to customise CPI, polling rate, lift-off distance, X/Y sensitivity, RGB lighting, buttons or macros. Basic or software-level support on macOS, Linux, PlayStation and Xbox was not confirmed by Bloody, so compatibility with those platforms should not be promised.

This mouse is a sensible choice for:

  • Right-handed FPS and action-game plyers who want up to 12,000 CPI and 2000Hz polling.

  • Users who lift and reposition the mouse frequently and want adjustable LOD.

  • Players who prefer a wide, full-bodied mouse rather than a compact shell.

  • Buyers who want RGB, macro and sensitivity control through desktop software.

  • Setups where a stable wired connection is preferred over charging and wireless pairing.

Consider another model if you specifically need:

  • Bluetooth or 2.4GHz wireless connectivity.

  • A lightweight or compact esports mouse.

  • A left-handed control layout.

  • Officially confirmed macOS, Linux or console software support.

Use macros only where they are permited by the game, tournament or platform rules.
