AULA L99 Smart Screen Mechanical Gaming Keyboard – 3.98-Inch Touchscreen, Tri-Mode Wireless, RGB & 8000mAh Battery

he AULA L99 is a feature-packed mechanical keyboard designed for gamers, content creators and anyone who wants a more customizable desktop setup. It combines mechanical keys, wireless connectivity, customizable RGB lighting and a built-in touchscreen in a compact design that looks distinctive on any gaming desk.

Rather than using the display purely for decoration, the L99 gives you access to useful controls and customization options directly from the keyboard. You can adjust settings, manage lighting, use utility functions and personalize the screen with compatible images or GIF animations.

3.98-Inch Touchscreen for More Than Just Looks

One of the L99's defining features is its integrated 3.98-inch touchscreen. The 320 × 480 resolution display provides access to supported keyboard settings and functions without relying entirely on traditional key combinations.

Depending on the selected function and software support, the touchscreen can be used for:

• Adjusting keyboard and display settings

• Changing RGB lighting effects and colours

• Displaying custom images and GIF animations

• Accessing calculator and touchpad functions

• Viewing system information and changing supported settings

• Switching between supported connection modes

The display also gives your setup a more personalized appearance, making the L99 a practical choice for users who want a keyboard that stands out visually as well as functionally. GIF and image customization may require the compatible driver or software.

Tri-Mode Connectivity for Different Devices

The AULA L99 supports three connection methods, allowing you to choose the setup that suits your desk or device.

USB Type-C wired connection: Connect the keyboard directly for a dependable wired setup without relying on its wireless battery.

2.4GHz wireless connection: Use the included wireless receiver for a cable-free desktop arrangement.

Bluetooth connectivity: Connect to compatible Bluetooth devices, including supported computers, tablets and phones.

Gasket-Mounted Construction with Sound-Dampening Layers

The L99 uses a gasket-style internal structure with multiple layers of sound-dampening material. These layers are designed to reduce unwanted case noise and help create a softer, more controlled typing feel.

Its construction includes components such as sound-absorbing foam, insulating layers, a positioning board and a reinforced internal assembly. Together, these elements are intended to improve the overall typing experience compared with a basic rigid keyboard structure.

Whether you're gaming, writing, studying or working for extended periods, the gasket-mounted design adds another level of refinement to the keyboard.

Full-Key Hot-Swappable Mechanical Switches

The AULA L99 supports hot-swappable switches, allowing compatible switches to be replaced without soldering. This is useful if you want to customize the feel of your keyboard, replace a faulty switch or experiment with a different typing experience.

The supplied switch depends on the selected product variant. The Caramel Latte linear switch shown in the provided product images is specified with an initial force of approximately 45 ± 8 gf, a bottom-out force of approximately 55 ± 8 gf and a total travel of approximately 3.6 ± 0.2 mm.

These switches are factory-lubed according to the illustrated specification, helping provide a smoother keystroke. Switch feel and sound will also depend on the selected variant, keycaps and surrounding environment.

Customizable RGB Backlighting

The L99 features RGB backlighting with support for up to 16.8 million colours and multiple lighting effects. The provided product material advertises 20 lighting modes and music-rhythm lighting.

You can adjust supported lighting settings through the touchscreen or keyboard shortcuts. This makes it easier to match your keyboard to the rest of your gaming setup, whether you prefer a subtle glow or more colourful effects.

8000mAh Rechargeable Battery

The built-in 8000mAh rechargeable battery supports wireless use without keeping the keyboard connected to a charging cable. AULA's product material advertises approximately 32 hours of operation with RGB lighting enabled and up to 266 hours with RGB lighting disabled under the stated test conditions.

Actual battery life varies with brightness, screen usage, wireless connection, lighting effects and other settings. For charging, follow the manufacturer's instructions and use the supplied cable as recommended.

Compact 75% Layout

The L99 uses a compact layout with a dedicated display area in place of the conventional full-size numeric keypad. This design helps preserve desk space for mouse movement while retaining the main typing keys and commonly used functions.

The touchscreen also provides access to supported utility functions, including a mini numeric keypad and calculator. The result is a keyboard that combines a space-conscious layout with additional digital controls.
