The Amaze A12 Pro Type-C to USB 3.2 OTG Adapter gives USB-C phones, tablets and laptops a convenient USB-A connection for flash drives, keyboards, mice and other compatible USB accessories. It supports manufacturer-rated data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps, OTG functionality, plug-and-play operation and up to 120W power support on compatible setups.

Its compact ABS + alloy construction and included lanyard make it easy to keep with your everyday accessories.

Turn Your USB-C Port into a Full-Size USB Connection

The Amaze A12 Pro Type-C to USB 3.2 OTG Adapter is designed for users who need to connect conventional USB-A accessories to a device equipped with USB-C.

Simply connect the Type-C end to a compatible smartphone, tablet or laptop and use the USB-A port for supported USB peripherals. This makes the A12 Pro useful when transferring files from a USB flash drive, connecting a keyboard or mouse, or accessing other compatible USB accessories without carrying a larger hub.

Up to 10Gbps Data Transfer

Amaze rates the A12 Pro for transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps, making it suitable for transferring documents, photos, videos and other large files between compatible USB devices.

Actual transfer speed depends on the USB capabilities of the connected phone or computer, the storage device, file type and other hardware involved. Connecting a slower USB device will therefore result in speeds below the adapter's maximum supported rate.

Compact ABS + Alloy Construction

The A12 Pro combines ABS and alloy materials in a compact adapter body designed for everyday portability.

Its small form factor takes up very little space in a laptop bag, accessory pouch or pocket, while the supplied lanyard provides another convenient way to keep the adapter with your everyday accessories.

USB-C to USB-A OTG Connectivity

The adapter uses a USB Type-C male connector on the host side and provides a USB-A female port for connecting compatible USB devices.

OTG functionality allows supported smartphones and tablets to act as a host for devices such as:

• USB flash drives
• USB keyboards
• USB mice
• Other compatible USB peripherals

The phone or tablet itself must support USB OTG / USB host functionality for connected accessories to work correctly.

Manufacturer-Rated 120W Power Support

Amaze A12 Pro rated up to 120W fast-charging/power support.

The adapter itself is not a charger. Actual charging power depends on the charger, cable, connected device and charging protocol being compatible with the required power level. A 120W result should therefore not be expected on every phone, charger or USB accessory.

Audio Support on Compatible Devices

Amaze also lists an audio feature for the A12 Pro. Audio functionality depends on the connected device and USB audio accessory being compatible.

Plug & Play — No Battery or Dedicated Software

The A12 Pro is a direct wired adapter and does not require a battery.

Amaze describes it as plug and play, with no additional driver required for normal supported use. Compatibility ultimately depends on the host device and the USB peripheral being connected.

Before Buying

Having a USB-C port alone does not guarantee that every USB accessory will work.

For mobile use, the device should support USB OTG / host mode. Some high-power USB storage devices and peripherals may also require more power than a smartphone or tablet can provide.

If you are unsure about compatibility, check your exact phone, tablet or laptop model before purchase.
